Chris Horgan returns to League of Ireland to sign for Treaty United
Treaty United have announced the signing of former Galway United defender Chris Horgan.
The right back returns to the League of Ireland after over two years, the 24 year old spending time abroad studying.
“Chris is another young player with experience and has been studying and playing in the Netherlands for a few years. He brings a good level of professionalism and energy to the group which will help us moving forward,” Manager Tommy Barrett said, speaking to the club’s website.
Horgan spent four seasons with Galway United where he appeared nearly 50 times in all competitions for his hometown club.
The 24 year old is the brother of Ireland international Daryl as well as current Galway United defender Colm and former Galway United and Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Kevin.
