Shamrock Rovers to host Galway United as All-Island Cup Final details are announced
The date and venue for the Avenir All-Island Cup Final was confirmed on Friday morning.
Shamrock Rovers have been drawn as the home side and they will host current champions Galway United at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday, 17 August (kick-off 7.35pm).
The game will be broadcast on TG4.
The Tribeswomen defeated Wexford on penalties Wednesday night in a hard fought victory at Eamonn Deacy Park.
Rovers ran out 2-1 winners at Tolka Park against Shelbourne to reach next month’s final.
As a result of both side advancing to the Final two Women’s premier Division fixtures have been rescheduled to a later date.
Shamrock Rovers -v- DLR Waves and Cork City -v- Galway United, both scheduled for the day of the All-Island Cup Final will now be postponed.
