Fleetwood Town sign Mark Helm from Burton Albion
Fleetwood Town have announced the acquisition of midfielder Mark Helm from Burton Albion on a permanent basis.
Helm, 22, has inked a three-year contract with Fleetwood, which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2027.
Helm began his football journey at Manchester United, joining the club’s academy at the age of seven. Despite progressing through the ranks, he was released in 2021, subsequently signing with Burnley.
In January 2023, Helm moved to Burton Albion on an 18-month deal, debuting against Shrewsbury Town just two days later.
During his time at Burton, Helm made an impact with 19 appearances in his first season and 44 appearances last campaign, netting six goals.
