Manchester City 3 - 4 Celtic

Manchester City's pre-season tour of the United States began with a narrow 4-3 defeat to Celtic in North Carolina.

The Scottish champions took an early lead, with Kyogo Furuhashi scoring in the fourth minute.

Nicolas Kühn added two more goals in the first half, while Oscar Bobb managed to pull one back for City at the 33-minute mark.

In the second half, City mounted a comeback. Maximo Perrone scored immediately after the break, followed by Erling Haaland's header in the 57th minute, which levelled the match at 3-3.

However, Celtic found a winner through substitute Luis Palma, sealing the victory.

The match also saw debuts for several City academy players, including Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, Jadel Katongo, Joel Ndala, and Nico O’Reilly.
