Shelbourne to host Galway United as FAI Cup third round draw is made
The FAI Cup third round draw has been made with just one all Premier Division encounter as Shelbourne and Galway United are set to meet.
The draw was made at FAI Headquarters in Abbotstown on Tuesday afternoon.
There will also be a local derby as Treaty United will host Pike Rovers who are managed by former Limerick FC man Robbie Williams.
Bohemians will make the long trip down to Mounthawk Park in Tralee for their first ever fixture against Kerry while Derry City will have to travel all the way to Turners Cross to face Cork City.

Balyfermot United -v- Wexford
Cork City -v- Derry City
Drogheda United -v- Wilton United
Shelbourne -v- Galway United
Treaty United -v- Pike Rovers
Kerry -v- Bohemians
Sligo Rovers -v- UCD
Waterford -v- Athlone Town
Fixtures have yet to be confirmed but all games are to be played on the week ending 18 August 2024.
