Limerick FC announce Dennis Lukens as new Director of Football
Limerick FC have announced the appointment of Dennis Lukens as their new Director of Football.
Lukens was involved with the group behind the short lived Irish Sea FC or Dublin County FC who were denied a licence to partake in the League of Ireland First Division in 2021.
The club, currently operating at Academy level only, made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
In a statement on their X account (formerly Twitter), the club said: “Limerick Football Club look forward to working with Dennis in developing on and off the pitch structures and supports to deliver a best in class elite player pathway serving the club’s local underage and League of Ireland teams.
“This appointment is part of the club’s firm commitment to fully restoring its Academy and providing players across the region with the opportunity to reach their potential.”
