Serie A defender Tikvic joins Watford on season long loan

Watford have confirmed the loan signing of Antonio Tikvic from Udinese.
The centre back joins the Hornets on a season long loan.
“It feels very good to sign; I am grateful to be here,” said Tikvić, speaking to the club’s website.
“English football has always been a big part of my life as I grew up watching it, and I can’t wait to get started.”
The Croatia under 21 international was born in Hamburg and began his playing career in Germany with Turkgucu Munchen before joining Bayern Munich in 2022.
He joined Udinese in 2023 and made his senior debut for the Serie A side in the Coppa Italia against Cagliari in 2023.
