Hojbjerg departs Spurs and joins Marseille on initial loan deal

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed a move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg which will see the midfielder join Ligue 1 side Marseille ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The move will be an initial loan with an obligation for the move to become permanent after next season.
The Dane joined Spurs from Southampton in August 2020 and made 184 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The 28 year old began his career in Denmark with Bronby before moving to Bayern Munich where he would make his senior debut for Bayern Munich II.
He had loan spells with Augsburg and Schalke 04 before moving to the UK to sign for Southampton.
