Longford Town swoop for goalkeeper Harry Halwax
First Division strugglers Longford Town have added goalkeeper Harry Halwax to their ranks on a deal until the end of the season.
Halwax, 22, joins the Red and Black from Leinster Senior League top-flight outfit Maynooth University Town.
The Dubliner was previously on the books of Cabinteely in the League of Ireland.
And he has also had spells in the UK with Derby County and QPR.

Meanwhile, midfielder Conor Crowley has left the club.
The former Wexford, Cabinteely and Bray Wanderers made 19 appearances for Longford and picked up four assists during that time.
His last outing was in Longford’s 2-1 defeat away to Kerry last month before the mid-season break.
The club can confirm that Conor Crowley has departed from the team.
