Amadou Onana joins Aston Villa

Aston Villa have announced the signing of Amadou Onana from Everton for an undisclosed fee.

The Belgium international joins the club after two seasons as a toffee where he made over 70 appearances and scoring three times last term.

Onana began his senior career with TSG Hoffenheim and went on to play for Hamburger SV before a move to Ligue 1 with Lille in 2021.

The 22 year old made his international debut for Belgium in 2022 against the Netherlands and was part of their EURO 2024 squad in Germany. He has 17 caps in total.
