Former Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic joins Hadjuk Split

Hadjuk Split have announced the signing of Ivan Rakitic.
The 106 time Croatia international has joined the six time Croatian league champions after a spell with Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
The Swiss born superstar began his career with FC Basel and went on to play for Schalke, Sevilla and Barcelona before joining Al-Shabab.
The 36 year old scored once in eight appearances during his time in Saudi Arabia, joining Al-Shabab in January 2024. The midfielder has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Rakitic had his most successful time while playing for Barcelona where he won the Champions League, four La Liga titles and five Copa del Ray titles.
