Also in the Munster Senior League, Carrigaline United will be looking to make it through to the next round of the FAI Cup.

They received a bye to reach this stage of the competition and were quarter-finalists in last season’s FAI Intermediate Cup.

Carrigaline also possess prior history in the FAI Cup, having reached the second round in 2006 before losing 4-0 to Sligo Rovers.

They also reached the third round in 2009 before exiting against Waterford following a 6-0 loss.
