Leicester City sign Jamaica midfielder Swaby

Women’s Super League side Leicester City have announced the signing of Jamaica international Chantelle Swaby ahead of the new season.
The 25 year old joins the Foxes on a two year deal after the expiration of her contract with French side Fleury.
“I feel great to sign,” Swaby said, speaking to the club’s website.
“It’s going to be a great experience and a good challenge for me as well. Overall, I’m just excited to get going.
“I’ve been wanting to come to the WSL for years now, but I just haven’t had the chance to. I’m happy to be here and can’t wait to get started.”
The midfielder has played for NJ/NY Gotham and Glasgow Rangers and more recently she played for FC Fleury 91 in the French top flight where she made 33 appearances over two years.
