Manchester United sign Norwegian striker Elisabeth Terland
Manchester United have secured the signing of Norway international Elisabeth Terland on a contract that runs until the end of the 2025/26 season, with an option to extend for an additional year.
Terland joins United from Brighton and Hove Albion, where she made 39 appearances and 20 goals over two seasons in the Women's Super League (WSL).
On the international stage, Terland has represented Norway at various levels, including U15, U17, and U19, and was part of the squad for Euro 2022.
Last season, Terland scored 13 goals and finished joint-second in the race for the Golden Boot.
Expressing her excitement, Terland said, “I’m so honoured to sign for Manchester United and cannot wait to join up with the team. Having experienced their excellent fans from the opposing side, I’m really looking forward to having them in my corner this season.”
Manchester United manager Marc Skinner added, “Elisabeth is a young player who will bring a fresh dynamic and energy to our team. We are delighted she has chosen to become part of our Manchester United family and look forward to integrating her into our playing squad.”
