Ipswich Town have signed goalkeeper Arijanet Muric from Burnley. The 25-year-old has committed to a four-year contract with the Blues, marking their fifth signing of the summer.

Muric, born in Switzerland and representing Kosovo internationally with 38 caps, was involved in Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League during the 2022/23 season. He also made ten top-flight appearances for the Clarets last season.

Starting his professional career at Manchester City, Muric had loan spells at NAC Breda, Nottingham Forest, Girona, Willem II, and Adana Demirspor before joining Burnley. During his time at Turf Moor, he made 55 appearances.

“I’m excited to have joined the club and am looking forward to getting started,” Muric told TownTV.

“I watched how the team played last season and feel the style will suit me very well, so this is the perfect move for me.”

Muric added, “I have had good conversations with the manager and Rene Gilmartin, the Head of Goalkeeping, and believe this is the right place for me as the club moves into the Premier League. I’m looking forward to getting started.”
