Sheffield United have successfully secured the signing of Callum O'Hare on a four-year contract.

The former Coventry City attacker joins the Blades on a free transfer.

Manager Chris Wilder expressed his excitement over the new signing.

"Callum has been on our radar for a while. Many clubs in the Championship, and even some in the Premier League, would have jumped at the chance to sign him. He's a talented individual, and we're thrilled he's chosen to advance his career with us," Wilder stated.

He added, "Our supporters will be familiar with Callum's performances against us for Coventry, and they will appreciate his qualities that align with our expectations for a Sheffield United player."

O'Hare, too, is eager to start his journey at Bramall Lane. "I am buzzing to be here. This is a big club, and although I had interest from other teams and leagues, I felt this was the right step for my career," he said.

Reflecting on his time at Coventry, O'Hare added, "I have a lot of respect for the players, fans, and coaches there, but it was time for a new challenge."

O'Hare's football journey began at Aston Villa, where he joined at the age of seven. He progressed through the youth ranks and signed his first professional contract in 2015, making his senior debut two years later.

He had loan spells at Carlisle United and Coventry City, the latter of which led to a permanent move in 2020. During his time with Coventry, O'Hare scored 22 goals in 182 appearances, with his last goal coming in the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United at Wembley.
