Cambridge United complete loan signing of QPR midfielder

Cambridge United have announced the loan signing of Taylor Richards from QPR.
The midfielder joins United on a season long loan having found first team football hard to come by at Loftus Road having joined QPR from Brighton and Hove Albion last year.
“I am very excited,” Richards said, speaking to the club’s website.
“It’s a big opportunity for me to come here and play some football - I just want to get out there and show what I can do.
"Speaking to the Club about my aims and where I want to get to, and the Club's aims, and where they want to get to, it all made sense to me.
“I want to get back to enjoying my football and if I am enjoying it, then everything else will come along with that."
The former England under 17 international began his career with Fulham and Manchester City before joining Brighton where he would make his senior debut.
He had loan spells with Doncaster Rovers, Birmingham City and QPR before joining the Hoops permanently in 2023.
