League Preview: Cork City -v- Finn Harps
CORK CITY
First Division leaders, Cork City, will be looking to extend their lead at the top when they face Finn Harps at Turners Cross on Friday.
They look to have recovered from a blip prior to the mid-season break and are hoping to win their fifth game in a row.
Cathal O’ Sullivan was the star of the show as his superb double helped them recover from going behind at Wexford.
Tim Clancy was full of praise of the 17-year-old: “He is a very clever footballer. He has all the attributes to go on and have a very good career.
"We are just delighted to have at the club at the minute."
The club has stated their hope to keep Sean Murray at the club whose loan spell ends at the end of the month. There is more transfer activity expected in the coming weeks.
FINN HARPS
The Donegal club travel south in the hope of getting back on track to keep up their promotion hopes.
They had fallen back down to fourth place after a run of four games without a win.
A first half effort from Sean Patton gave them the win against Kerry to keep their ambitions alive.
A win down in Turners Cross against the champions elect would be a huge boost in this regard.
Especially with an FAI Cup game against the same opposition next weekend.
