GALWAY UNITED

Galway United boss John Caulfield has called on his support to get behind their team as Bohemians visit Eamonn Deacy Park on Friday night (kick-off is at 7.45pm).

The Tribesmen come into the game following a 2-0 defeat against Shelbourne last weekend.

And they have now lost three of their last four league outings but do welcome Bobby Burns into their squad for the first time after his move from Glentoran.

“Hopefully the new players will give us that extra energy and quality,” Caulfield said.

“Every game is tough this season and we need the fans to get behind us on Thursday.”

BOHEMIANS

Bohemians are set to line out with Ross Tierney for the first time since the attacking midfielder re-joined the club from Motherwell.

The former Ireland under-21 star completed a switch back to Dalymount Park last month.

But he was unable to feature for Bohs until July 1 passed upon the opening of the summer transfer window.

And he has been joined at the Gypsies in recent days by Leigh Kavanagh who joins from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

Midfielder Archie Meekison has also moved to Dublin 7 from Dundee United. Both players have penned multi-year contracts at Dalymount Park.

In further team news, Brian McManus, James McManus, Rob Cornwall and Keith Buckley are expected to remain out through injury.

Referee: Eoghan O’Shea.
