Wrexham's Paul Mullin to miss pre-season tour after surgery
Wrexham have confirmed that striker Paul Mullin will miss the US pre-season tour due to undergoing minor spinal surgery.
The procedure was necessary to address a long-term lower-back and hamstring issue.
Mullin, the club's three-time back-to-back top scorer and Player of the Season, had been managing the injury through conservative treatment for three years.
"Following several consultations, it was determined that surgery would be the best way forward," the club stated on their official website.
Mullin had the surgery in London in mid-June to ensure he is fit for the majority of the 2024/25 campaign as Wrexham prepare for their first season back in League One.
He will undergo rehabilitation with the club’s medical department to work towards full fitness with no timeframe set for his return.
