Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the signing of Olaf Kobacki from Polish side Arka Gdynia.

The 22-year-old forward becomes the club's sixth addition of the summer transfer window with Max Lowe, Jamal Lowe, Svante Ingelsson, BEn Hamer, and Yan Valery having joined previously.

Kobacki began his career at Lech Poznan’s academy before moving to Serie A side Atalanta in 2017.

He featured for Atalanta’s youth teams before joining Arka Gdynia on loan in August 2021.

His performances led to a permanent move to Arka the following season. He also spent a stint with Miedz Legnica.

Primarily playing on the left flank, Kobacki scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists during his time with Arka.
