Eleanor Ryan Doyle pens new deal with Championship Durham

Eleanor Ryan Doyle will remain at Durham for the 2024/25 season after triggering a second year on her contract with the Championship club.

The 26-year-old made the move north from Birmingham City at the beginning of last season having spent six months on loan with Coventry City.

Former Peamount United sharpshooter Ryan Doyle scored five goals in 26 appearances as the Wildcats finished ninth, comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

She represented Ireland up to under-17 level and was twice included in the senior squad as she helped Peas to back-to-back titles in 2019 and 2020.

Durham have also announced the retention of first-team players Grace Ayre, Dee Bradley, Olivia Bramley, Lily Crosthwaite, Beth Hepple, Ella Wilson

Former Peamount teammate Naoisha McAloon and ex-Cork City and Shelbourne striker Saoirse Noonan spent the 2023/24 season with Durham but have yet to reveal their destination for next season.
