Bolton Wanderers sign Klaidi Lolos from Crawley Town
Bolton Wanderers have announced the signing of forward Klaidi Lolos from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old joins on a three-year deal, becoming Bolton's third signing of the summer after defender Chris Forino and goalkeeper Luke Southwood.
Lolos scored 15 goals last season to help Crawley achieve promotion from League Two.
“He's a very talented boy. Physically he's really good, aggressive with and without the ball, and extremely technical,” said Evatt.
“He will give us options in-game because he can play multiple positions really well. He is a creator, goal-scorer, both-footed and there's also improvement to come. He's a young player who's had a journey that’s made him hungry.”
Evatt added that the club is working hard to strengthen the squad further. “It's important that we get fresh people in, with a fresh outlook and fresh positivity, and so far, we're pleased with the business that we're doing and there's more to be done yet.”
Lolos, who started his career at Plymouth Argyle, has also played for Torquay United and Oxford City, where he had a prolific season before joining Crawley.
His 13 goals in League Two last season were key in Crawley's promotion, culminating in a play-off victory against Crewe Alexandra.
On joining Bolton, Lolos said, “I am delighted to get the deal over the line. It has been in the works for a couple of weeks now, so it is a great feeling to get the medical done and sign for the club. I was really impressed when I watched the play-off final, and this seems to be a really great club to be at.”
