Hull City have confirmed two transfers with Ozan Tufan joining Turkish side Trabzonspor, while left-back Ryan Giles has been signed from Luton Town.

Ozan Tufan, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder, has signed a three year contract with Trabzonspor.

Tufan returns to his homeland after two seasons at the MKM Stadium, where he scored 18 goals in 84 appearances.

At his signing, Trabzonspor Board Member Derviş Köz expressed his confidence in Tufan's success, stating, "We believe that Ozan will be very successful in our team. Ozan knows that he has come to the biggest city team in the world."

Tufan himself shared his excitement, saying, "I believe that Trabzonspor will achieve success and I will try to contribute in the best way possible with my best performance. I am already very excited, I want to start as soon as possible."

Tufan will wear jersey number 11 at Trabzonspor.

Meanwhile, Hull City have triggered an option to buy left-back Ryan Giles from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.

Giles, 24, has signed a three-year contract with the option of a further year. He featured 17 times on loan at the MKM Stadium during the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Giles has made over 130 Championship appearances, providing an impressive 23 assists. His previous spells include time with Middlesbrough, Cardiff City, Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City, and Rotherham United.

Manager Paul Hurst commented on Giles' signing, saying, "Ryan is a dynamic full-back with great attacking potential. His experience and skill will be a valuable addition to our squad."
