Galway United swoop for Bobby Burns from Glentoran
European chasing Galway United have captured the services of Bobby Burns from Irish League side Glentoran.
Burns, 24, is a midfielder by trade and has lined out for Hearts and Livingston in Scotland.
He was also on the books of English side Barrow previously and spent a stint in Australia with A-League side Newcastle Jets.
But he is most well known for his time at Glentoran having spent the last few seasons at the Oval.
Burns has also played for Glenavon and Knockbreda in Northern Ireland.
Capped at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level, Burns played over 100 times for the Glens and played under former Bohemians boss Declan Devine at the club last season.
The Belfast lad is Galway United’s first arrival of the summer window after Wassim Aoucahria and Tom Costello left the club earlier this month.
