Nick Tsaroulla joins Notts County on two-year deal
Nick Tsaroulla has joined Notts County on a two-year deal with the option for a further year.
The 25-year-old leaves West Sussex after a four-year spell at the Broadfield Stadium.
Richard Montague, board member and recruitment lead at Notts County, acknowledged Tsaroulla's impact at Crawley.
“Firstly, it’s important to acknowledge the close connection Nick has forged with Crawley since making his professional debut. We know how much he enjoyed his time there, and how he appreciates the club setting him on his path as a senior professional.”
Montague praised Tsaroulla's playing style and versatility, stating, “He’s a really exciting player – tenacious in his approach, an excellent dribbler, unpredictable and capable of scoring goals out of nowhere. He’s also very strong in defensive phases and comfortable playing on both flanks, so he’ll be a fantastic support to Jodi Jones, Aaron Nemane and our other wide options.”
Tsaroulla, a product of Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, also spent time with Brentford’s B team before signing his first professional contract with Crawley.
His most memorable moment came early in his career when he scored a sensational goal against Leeds United in the FA Cup, leading Crawley to a 3-0 victory. This goal earned him the Goal of the Season award.
Last season, Tsaroulla made 49 appearances, scoring six goals and providing six assists, helping Crawley win promotion via the play-offs.
Montague added, “As well as adding depth to the squad, Nick brings more than 100 games worth of League Two experience as well as a fantastic personality. He’s going to be a brilliant addition on so many levels and we’re delighted he’s decided to progress his career with us.”
