Max Lowe makes Sheffield switch to Wednesday from United
Max Lowe will join Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer effective 1 July, following the expiry of his contract with city rivals Sheffield United. Lowe can operate effectively as a left back or holding midfielder.
Starting his career with Derby County, Lowe graduated from the Rams' academy and accumulated 42 senior appearances.
His career trajectory includes loan spells at Shrewsbury and Aberdeen, followed by a significant stint at Nottingham Forest, where he was part of the team that achieved promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs in the 2021/22 season.
During his time with Sheffield United, Lowe made 44 appearances, including his period on loan to Nottingham Forest.
He has also represented England at various youth levels, including Under-16, 17, 18, and 20.
Lowe is set to officially sign with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in July.
