AFC Bournemouth confirm pre-season fixtures against La Liga side

AFC Bouremouth have confirmed two pre-season fixtures, with the Cherries set to begin preparation for the 2024/25 season with the visit of two Spanish sides.
Rayo Vallecano and Girona will face Bournemouth at home on back to back weekends in August. Rayo will take to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday, 4 August, while Girona will face the Cherries in Dorset on Saturday, 10 August.
It will be a reunion of sorts for Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola who spent three years managing Rayo Vallecano.
