Dublin Castle hosting Europa League final fan fest

Dublin Castle will host a two day fan fest as part of the build up to the Europa League final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen.

On the eve of the game and on matchday (Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 May), the city centre venue will according to UEFA ‘offer fans, visitors and city dwellers a festive football spirit with an abundance of entertainment activities and much more’.

The festival will open at 11am on Tuesday 21 May running till 10pm, with a 10am to 5pm opening on match day on Wednesday 22 May. The festival is free to attend.

The pitch programme will feature football action on a 4-a-side mini-pitch, with a match between UEFA legends taking place on the day of the final from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. 

Attendees will be able to take a picture with the UEFA Europa League trophy, while UEFA’s various commercial partners will have games and activities.

A giant UEFA Europa League trophy will be displayed from Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 May at North Earl Street, close to the portal to New York’s Fifth Avenue.
