Jon Daly departs St Patrick's Athletic as boss
St Patrick's Athletic have confirmed the departure of Jon Daly as first-team manager.
The former Ireland underage international took charge of the Saints last season and led them to an FAI Cup success in November against Bohemians at the Aviva Stadium.
But his side have struggled this season and are sitting in a lowly seventh place after 15 games played.
They have lost seven games, and have won just five - drawing the other three.
And in a statement, the club confirmed they have 'relieved' him of his duties in charge.
"St Patrick's Athletic can confirm that Jon Daly has been relieved of his duties as First Team Manager," they said.
Chairman Garrett Kelleher said: “We would like to thank Jon for his time at the club, and in particular our FAI Cup success at The Aviva last November.
"We wish Jon the very best for the future.”
