Galway United -v- St. Patrick’s Athletic

Top of the table St. Patrick’s Athletic travel to Terryland Park this Monday evening to face Galway United (kick off 7.45pm).

Galway come into the game with just three wins from nine so far. Two wins in their last three games, against Drogheda and Bohs, have helped keep the Tribesmen away from the bottom of the table.

Galway have injury concerns over Bobby Ryan who limped off after 62 minutes in last Friday's 3-1 win over Drogheda United. Derek O'Brien looks likely to replace Bobby Ryan if the United winger is ruled out.

Gary Curran (knee) and Thomas Heary (knee) remain out.

Following a hard fought victory over Sligo Rovers on Friday, Pete Mahon’s men will look to continue their fine run of form when they travel west.

The Saints have beaten United already this season, securing an opening night 2-0 victory in Richmond Park. Ryan Guy and Alex Williams got their names on the score sheet back in March.

Vinnie Faherty returns to his old club for the first time this season, and will be relishing the opportunity to face his old teammates.
