The League of Ireland have announced that the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division fixture between Sligo Rovers and Galway United, scheduled for tonight, has been postponed.
The decision was made over health and safety concerns related to the risk of travelling, flying debris, and power outages in the Sligo area, following an Orange Weather Warning issued by Met Eireann.
The league stated, "The safety of players, staff, and supporters is paramount, and with the current weather warnings, it's not safe to proceed with tonight's match."
