Meanwhile, Lucan United’s chase for the league title continued unabated with a comfortable 2-0 win over Kilbarrack United.
Keith Baker’s side have now moved four points clear at the summit.
Duo Mark Byrne - formerly of Shelbourne and Bray Wanderers - and Anthony Kavanagh both netted for the leaders against Kilbarrack.
Elsewhere, surprise package St Francis have maintained their strong campaign following their promotion to the top-flight last season.
The John Hyland Park men edged past Crumlin United with a late winner from Jack O’Connor to secure a 1-0 win.
The Saints are now third in the table and sit just five points behind Lucan. They have, however, played a game more than the leaders.
