LSL Senior Sunday round-up: St Francis turn on the style against Kilbarrack United as Tolka Rovers edge past Maynooth University Town

St Francis turned on the style as they rose into third place in the top-flight on Friday night.

The West Dublin side have impressed following their promotion last season and are now just five points off league leaders Lucan United.

In their resounding success over Kilbarrack, Babatunde Animashaun, Sean McManus and Sean O’Mahoney all scored en route to a 5-0 victory.

And Darragh Murphy was also on hand to net a brace to seal the deal.

Meanwhile, former Drogheda United attacker Stephen Meaney scored the only goal of the game to see Tolka Rovers over the line against Maynooth University Town.

Maynooth remain rooted to the foot of the table as a result, while Tolka Rovers now sit in 10th. Home Farm drew 1-1 against Bangor Celtic.

Dan Beya scored second goal in as many games for Bangor, while Bradlee Hand was on target for Home Farm.

Elsewhere, it was a patchy week for Crumlin United as they won one, and lost another of their two games.

Their victory arrived versus Wayside Celtic at Jackson Park, securing a 2-1 success.

Callum Bridgeman and Paul Fox both scored for James Lee’s men. Adam O’Brien netted for Wayside.

Although, they will be disappointed that they were unable to see off Killester Donnycarney.

The North Dublin men claimed a 2-1 victory, with Robert Dunne and Steven Nolan finding the net. Fox netted the consolation for the Dublin 8 charges.
