League of Ireland suspension list for 8 and 9 March 2024

The FAI have announced the suspension list in advance of this weekend’s League of Ireland fixtures starting on Friday, 8 March.

Just one player will miss out on this weekend’s action with Barry Coffey serving the first of his three-game suspension for Cork City’s visit to Longford Town on Saturday evening.

Coffey was sent off late in Cork City’s victory over UCD last Friday night.

In the Premier Division Shelbourne and Galway United will be bolstered by coming into this weekend with Sean Boyd and Stephen Walsh now available for their respective clubs – both players received straight reds on the opening night of the season.
