St Mochta’s to host Dundalk in draw for last-eight of Leinster Senior Cup
Leinster Senior League Senior Sunday kingpins St Mochta’s have been drawn to face Dundalk in a glamour tie for the quarter-final stage of the Leinster Senior Cup.
Brian McCarthy’s side enjoyed an unbeaten group stage campaign, defeating UCD and Usher Celtic on their path to progression.
They also drew with Premier Division side St Patrick’s Athletic at Porterstown Road last month.
And they will now face a Lilywhites side who came second in their group with Drogheda United and Bohemians.
But Dundalk had been lining out with a team largely made up of under-20 players.
Meanwhile, St Patrick’s Athletic will visit Bray Wanderers in the last-eight.
Drogheda United will also face Athlone Town, while Shelbourne’s under-20s will play against Maynooth University Town.
All fixtures have been provisionally scheduled to take place on March 18th, but are subject to change.
