Cobh Ramblers have added to their attacking ranks with the signing of striker Beineon O'Brien-Whitmarsh.

O'Brien-Whitmarsh returns to the Rams after a recent spell with Longford Town.

The striker scored six times in 18 games last season for De Town.

The Corkman, who is the brother of now former Cork City player Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh and son of ex-League of Ireland striker Paul, has also lined out for City.

And he will be joined at St Colman's Park this season by Waterford U19 starlet Alessandro De Sanctis.

De Sanctis played for the Blues at under-19s level and has also worked under current Rams boss Gary Hunt.

And he said: "I’m delighted to join Cobh and can’t wait to get started.

"The lads had a great season and I’ve really enjoyed pre season so far.

"I can’t wait to gain more experience and hopefully we can kick on even more now from last season."
