England up first as Nations League fixtures released

The Republic of Ireland have been drawn in a tough group with England, Finland, and Greece.

The Nations Leagues fixtures were revealed on Friday morning and Ireland now know their opening game will be against the Three Lions.

The game is scheduled for Saturday September 7th in the Aviva Stadium for a 5pm kick off. The game will be highly anticipated as this is the first time both nations have played a competitive game against each other in over 30 years.

Added factors to the occasion could be the inclusion of Declan Rice and Jack Grealish in the England line up for the match.

England will also be the last game of the Nations League campaign which is fixed for Sunday November 17th at Wembley for a 7.45pm kick off.
