President Higgins welcomes four President's Cup representatives to Áras an Uachtaráin
The four representatives of each club met with the President of Ireland on Tuesday.

Lee Grace from Shamrock Rovers, Joe Redmond from St. Patrick’s Athletic, Karen Duggan from Peamount United, Athlone Town’s Laurie Ryan and League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon were all welcomed by President Higgins for the event.
League champions Shamrock Rovers and FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic meet this Friday at Tallaght Stadium in front of an expected record crowd for the Men’s President’s Cup with kick off at 20:00.
Women’s FAI Cup winners Athlone Town host Women’s Premier Division Champions Peamount United on March 2 at 17:00 at Athlone Town Stadium in the Women’s President’s Cup.

President Higgins has been a long-time supporter of the League of Ireland and will be looking forward to welcoming back his beloved Galway United to the Premier Division, who face FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic in the league opener on 16th February.
