Eiran Cashin signs new deal at Derby County
The former Republic of Ireland U-21 international has extended his stay at Pride Park.
The central defender is a fan favourite for the Rams faithful having come through the Derby academy. His new deal will see Cashin stay at the club until 2027.
The 22-year-old has been a regular in the Rams’ backline since making his senior debut in the second half of the 2021/22 season.
Since then, the centre-back has gone on to record 106 appearances for Derby’s first-team, scoring five times and has also been capped four times for Republic of Ireland U-21’s.
Cashin was last season’s winner of Derby County’s Young Player of the Season for the 2022/23 campaign, and has established himself as a near ever-present in the defence for the last two years.
This season, he has played 28 appearances in League One, with the Rams currently sitting in 4th place as they chase promotion back to the Championship.
In other news, Troy Parrott was on the scoresheet again in the Eredivisie.
