Facundo Pellistri joins Granada on loan from Manchester United

Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri is set to continue his career in La Liga, having secured a loan move to Granada for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The 22-year-old Uruguayan, who joined Manchester United in October 2020, is no stranger to Spanish football, having previously enjoyed loan spells with Alaves.

Pellistri's journey with Manchester United this season has seen him make 14 appearances, including three in the Champions League.

He was last featured in the team's 2-0 victory at Wigan Athletic in the previous round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Having been capped 18 times for Uruguay, Pellistri brings international experience to Granada. 

Pellistri developed his early career at CA Peñarol in Uruguay, debuting in their first team in August 2019.

His performances caught the attention of Manchester United, leading to his signing at the end of 2020. Following his initial tenure at Old Trafford, he moved on loan to Deportivo Alavés.

His experience at the international level includes participation in the last World Cup, and he has been a regular in Uruguay's squad under coach Marcelo Bielsa.
