Olamide Shodipo signs for CD Feirense
The 26-year-old has joined the Portuguese Second Division side on Wednesday evening.
Shodipo had struggled for game time at Lincoln City this season and was released when his short-term contract had expired in January.
The winger had only made six appearances for the Imps, scoring once.
The former Irish U-21 international will hope this move aboard will reignite his career after showing promise when coming through at QPR.
Shodipo will wear the number 25 for The Fogaceiro’s and could make his debut this Sunday as they take on Académico de Viseu.
The former QPR player becomes the latest Irish player to head outside the UK and Ireland to ply their trade.
Last week, Tayo Adaramola made the move to Belgium on loan to join RWD Molenbeek.
