Bohemians have secured the signing of striker Alannah McEvoy for the upcoming season.

The 22-year-old player previously with Peamount United and was one of Rovers’ six eye catching signings from the Peas at the start of the last campaign. She played in 18 of Rovers’ 20 league games, scoring four goals, as the Hoops finished third.

Bohs boss Ken Kiernan said: “Alannah has been amazing since coming into the group – her professionalism shone through immediately.

“Having had such a consistent season with Shamrock Rovers in 2023, we were delighted to have her listen to our plan and agree to sign.

“Her movement as an attacking player is unrivalled in the league and her finishing is top class.

“She can play as well off her left as her right foot, and this gives her an edge in the final third. She has a brilliant work-rate off the ball, and has an incredible will to win.

“Involved in the tour of America before the World Cup with the Irish senior team, Alannah has ambitions to be involved this coming season again.

“We look forward to her adding another edge to our attacking unit and scoring and assisting a lot of goals this season. A brilliant character and although still only 22, she has already been a brilliant role model for the players around her.”
