Bray Wanderers re-sign Stephen McGuinness as promising trio join
Bray Wanderers have confirmed the re-signing of experienced goalkeeper Stephen McGuinness.
The 28-year-old has played over 100 times in the First Division and will be a welcome addition to Ian Ryan’s Seagulls squad for the 2024 campaign.
Last term, the Kilpedder native played 11 times for Wanderers between the First Division and Leinster Senior Cup.
And this year he will be sharing goalkeeping duties alongside former Cork City and Wexford keeper Jimmy Corcoran.
McGuinness is also working on Ryan’s backroom team as goalkeeping coach.
And the shot-stopper will be joined in the Seagulls ranks this year by Peter Grogan, Jamie Duggan and Ben Clark.
Grogan is a former Ireland schools international while Duggan and Clark join from UCD respectively.
Clark has been with Bray before - and was also on the books of Cabinteely for a spell.
