DLR Waves preparation for the 2024 season had another boost with the announcement of a double signing. 

Taylor White who previously played with Shelbourne and Nadine Seward who was with Cork City have both signed for the club for the upcoming season.

This is a further strengthening of their squad with the club already resigning 19 of last year’s squad along with the addition of Chloe McCarthy from Shamrock Rovers.

First team manager Laura Heffernan spoke to the club’s media team about why she

thinks these new additions to her squad will have a positive impact on the season ahead.

“I am delighted to welcome both girls to the Waves. Both Nadine and Taylor bring great experience to the group.

Both have come through their WNL academy teams playing in the U17 & U19 leagues and have a number of years’ experience in the Women’s Premier Division as well. They will bring a new dynamic to our attack and give us some great options going forward.”

The club will now have some time to integrate these new signings with their retained squad of 2023 as they build towards the 9th of March and their league campaign opener against Shamrock Rovers.
