Jemma Quinn extends stay with Shelbourne
The 32-year-old has signed a new deal at Tolka Park ahead of the 2024 Women’s Premier Division.
Quinn was frustrated by the lack of progress in the women's game, she quit football in 2013, and admitted she lost interest in the sport.
However, after a 9-year absence, the midfielder returned to the sport in 2022 in Red and took to Tolka Park to re-boot her career.
Since her return, Quinn has appeared 45 times for Shels, including four Champions League appearances for the club.
In her first season back at the club she helped her side to a league and cup double from the centre of the park, proving herself to be a fan favourite in Drumcondra.
Having lost the 2023 FAI Women’s Cup final to Athlone Town in a penalty shootout, The Reds will have added motivation ahead of the league opener in the UCD Bowl where they face DLR Waves on March 8th.
