Striker Tyreece John-Jules has agreed to extend his loan at Derby County until the end of the 2023/24 season.

This decision follows the expiry of his initial half-season loan from Premier League club Arsenal.

John-Jules, 22, joined Derby in the early part of the season and has since made 12 appearances, scoring two goals.

He scored his first goal for Derby County in their 1-0 win over Port Vale in Sky Bet League One.

In addition to his goal at Port Vale, the young striker also scored in the 3-0 victory over Fleetwood Town in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Round of 32.

After a series of substitute appearances, John-Jules earned his first start in a 3-1 League One win at Fleetwood earlier this month.

An Arsenal Academy product, John-Jules has gained first-team experience through loan spells with Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town.

To date, he has made 74 senior appearances, scoring 11 times.

Internationally, he has represented England at every youth level from Under-16s to Under-21s.
