Longford Town re-sign Viktor Serdeniuk as Dundalk youngster Callum Bonner joins
First Division side Longford Town have unveiled the re-signing of powerful centre-midfielder Viktor Serdeniuk.
And Stephen Henderson’s men have also been able to snap up the services of Dundalk prospect Callum Bonner ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Serdeniuk, 27, played 32 times for De Town last season having joined them from Shamrock Rovers ahead of the 2023 season.
In doing so, he managed to establish himself as a mainstay in the Red and Black’s starting XI.
The Ukrainian is also a former underage international with his country.
He will, however, be joined by talented teenage striker Bonner this term.
The highly-rated attacker was Dundalk’s under-19 top scorer last season with 15 goals and was named on the bench for Dundalk’s Europa Conference League tie against Bruno’s Magpies last summer.
He has also featured for the Ireland under-18 schools team and earned a call-up to Tom Mohan’s Ireland under-19 squad camp.
The club is delighted to announce that Viktor Serdeniuk has committed to the team for 2024.
