Bristol City has announced that midfielder Scott Twine is joining on loan from Burnley until the end of the season, after spending the first half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Hull City.

Additionally, Taylor Gardner-Hickman has signed a permanent deal with the club, extending his stay until the summer of 2027.

Scott Twine, 24, has made his way to Bristol City after a first-half season loan at Hull City.

Twine, a Swindon Town academy graduate, has an impressive track record, including a loan spell at Waterford in the League of Ireland Premier Division, where he scored twice in 15 appearances.

"As a team I’d like to finish as high as possible in the table and personally I want to score and create as many goals as I can," Twine said about joining City.

Liam Manning, Bristol City's Head Coach, expressed his delight in securing Twine's services.

"He’s a fantastic person and exactly the type of player we need," said Manning.

Twine will not feature in the FA Cup tie with West Ham United but is set for his debut against Watford.

Taylor Gardner-Hickman, after initially signing on loan in the summer, has made his move to Bristol City permanent, signing a contract until the summer of 2027.

Gardner-Hickman has already made an impact, with 24 appearances and being named the club’s Player of the Month for November.

"I’m looking forward to the next few years,” Gardner-Hickman stated.

Andi Weimann, after making 22 appearances for Bristol City this season, joins West Bromwich Albion on loan.

"I’m really looking forward to the next few months... I just want to help as much as I can," Weimann commented on his new challenge.

Carlos Corberán, West Bromwich Albion’s Head Coach, welcomed Weimann, noting, “He adds quality and experience to our attacking options and is a welcome addition to the group.”

“He is fit and ready to play which is also important. We’re looking forward to working with Andi and I’m confident he will make a positive contribution during his time here.”+
