Swindon Town sign Liverpool's Paul Glatzel and Southampton's Jack Bycroft in permanent moves
Swindon Town has announced the permanent transfer of Liverpool forward Paul Glatzel.
The 22-year-old Glatzel is a product of Liverpool's academy and captained the team to Youth Cup success in the 2018-19 season, scoring 28 goals.
Glatzel has a track record as a prolific scorer for Liverpool's Academy and has represented both England and Germany at the youth level.
His loan spells at Tranmere Rovers have demonstrated his potential, where he scored six times in 21 appearances during the 2021-22 season.
In addition to Glatzel, Swindon has also secured Southampton goalkeeper Jack Bycroft on a permanent deal.
Bycroft, who turned professional with the Championship club in 2018, has impressed during his loans, particularly at Taunton Town, where he made 48 appearances and kept 19 clean sheets, earning a spot in the Vanarama National League South team of the season.
Bycroft has also been capped for England at U19 level and aims to leverage his experience as he competes for the goalkeeper position at Swindon.
